try this
download official game. go inside until you play the game.

after that put the obb then go inside the game again until its done patching.

after that rename the obb then uninstall official apk then install mod apk.

backup including data folder? (SDcard/Android/data)
I tried your way on bluestack & Nox player, but both black screen ,too.

1) install official game,be sure game can run normally
2) put patch.main.bmt.com.YoStarEN.Arknights.obb into it ,run game again
3) rename obb folder, uninstall offical game
4) install mod apk, reboot simulator
5) clear cache in setting,then grant storage and overlay permission

what wrong in my steps?

if you still got black screen, change to any resolution of your emulator then go back to your original or preferred resolution

ps: I notice the mod apk didn't create com.YoStarEN.Arknights folder in /sdcard/Android/data folder as official apk ,is it right?

yes you have to put the obb where the official one is which is at internal storage.

i am using ldplayer no root hence i cannot access to sdcard of the emulator.

which version of ldplayer you used? android 7.1 or 5.1 version?
I use root explorer to input obb ,the path is: /mnt/sdcard/android/obb
is this wrong? where is the internal memory location?

Why does this version crashes so much? My phone is still compatible with the original one and while the last version of the modded apk still crashed on me, it was only when I've been playing non-stop for a few hours but this one crashes very, very often that the times it crashed has already exceeded the number it ran smoothly for nearly an hour by a large margin and still counting... The game crashes even when I just opened it and say, click recruitment tab, or the operators or rather pressing any button can actually make the game crash on me. For example just now, I've already tried more than 10 times to play and restarted my phone 3 times but only two succeeded and I was only able to complete a stage two times and it was only for nearly four minutes before it crashed again... Sorry for the rant. Anyway is there anything I can do to fix this somehow? I've tried clearing up more space in case it needed more storage to no avail...

That option is not there. Try it on your phone and see for yourself. I have an s20 plus is there another setting that can help?

How about the BMT menu? Its not appearing on the screen. Even i ON the overlay app on my app settings.
