What kind of update are you referring to? The game is still the current 2.11.1 version so there's no major update on the game yet. If there's going to be another update on the game, it will most likely be to end of the Valentine's Event and start the CCC Event.

At least for me the game keeps asking for an updated version to be able to run. I'm guessing they've rolled out the 2.2.2 version mid Valentine's Event

Kinda impossible for it to be 2.11.2 seeing as 2.11.1 is the current version of FGO English version (JP is 2.28.0) according to Google play and APKPure. The mod's currently working just fine for my device (both on emulator and my phone).

Have you tried re-installing the current mod? I got an error on a previous patch before so I installed the official version, transferred it (copy-pasted the new transfer code) and re-installed the mod which worked.

If it still won't work, you can ask the mods for help.

if the application closes by itself maybe you have android 11 and for now the mod doesn't work for that version

Have you tried the reinstall method? Deleting the mod apk (make sure you have the transfer data) then reinstalling the mod? There could've been an error when it was installed before which was why it keeps crashing.
