Lemme share my 4 year of experience of modding this game. 1st up there is no particular content on which you get banned or not get banned. it all depends on which part of the game is kabam screening more and it you get filtered out, you get banned. AW at high tiers is a NO NO. kabam usually screens at the end of every war season and ban the modders at gold 1 or above usually but i have seen people get banned at gold 2 or even gold 3 allies. Recently there has been a screening on arenas and many people got banned. Those were usually guys going for the top 200 positions.
My advice is to play according to your level and champs. dont go n explore abyss at lvl 45 with rank 3,4 five star champs. Also keep an eye on forums that which part of game is being screened more for banning, like recently kabam was focussing more on gifting event, so it was a great time to vlear content. i explored act 7, with mostly attack 3,4, defense 7,8 and explored abyss with almost 15-20 attack and 15-20 defense. i did not get banned at all. i am lvl 60 with multiple maxed 5 stars and a few rank 3 six stars.
Currently avoid arenas in my opinion and avoid AW forever.
Better keep it low with your account, dont be bragging about exploring abyss,killing bosses on global or in your alliance. if other players report you, chances of ban are increased.
For harder content always use some revives and health potions. Thank you legend for the update
