For those who have the screen DATA CONNECTION REQUIRED, here is how you can fix it:

Download any VPN application of your choice (I use ExpressVPN, you can do some research online how to get the latest updated ExpressVPN mod apk) and then set your location to different countries.

The Mortal Kombat game should work after this. Try several countries until you find one that works with the game.

Works for me every time, now I can play the game anytime with no issues. Perfect Mod, thanks @Legend and @Blackmod TEAM for all your hard work.

Hopefully in future update we can have unlimited souls added as well

Yes this is working perfectly. You just need a VPN service to play it due to WB's weak servers.
