@Legend help the mod keeps Force closing after 5-10 seconds of opening it I've tried VM and even without any mods enabled the game keeps force closing

how to still keep data, after updated?

Just update your application from the same mod provide.
that is if you've installed your mod from blackmod.net then download your updated game from the same provider.
This generally won't create any issue.
If you'll try install your new mod from a different provider then this may create errors(package conflicts with the existing application).
P.S. if you are using older version of Android (below 12) then you'd be able to backup your data from the following path:
Android>data>zombiecraft.survival
Or whatever the package name shows on your device. For this you may need third party application like zarchiver.

fix the mod, it doesn't get past the loading screen, it crashes every time
