I agree with you. It's easier to just give up the automatic win altogether. I've never needed it. I'd rather spend more time than lose my game account.

Was it really safe to use instant win on IS?

it's been a while (like around 5+ months ago) since i did IS 4, but i did use the instant win to acquire the UI and to explore the endings. up till now, my account is still here. since getting concrete answers is rare in the comments, iirc i also used a borrowed operator back then just as an added measure so there aren't recorded replays or stuff.
