they ask about the update because they know that it cannot be saved in the cloud. however there is 1 way but I'm not sure it works. Download the original game on Playstore then play as usual then rename the data & obb folder > uninstall the game > install mod > change the folder name back to the beginning. However, this method does not always work for all games.
