Check if you have antivirus enabled or optimizer app has delete harmfull files option enabled.

Many apps treat mods as virus. So, check which app is deleting the downloaded file.

Doesn't work for me either. Tried it on my pixel 3a xl and Note 10+. It worked when I first launched it the first time on my pixel but now none of the features work no matter what I do. it never worked on my Note 10+.
