This the solution for the update screen. 100% working. I will add screenshot too. NOTE YOU NEED THE LATEST VERSION OF VMOS.

For everyone using Huawei devices or devices that doesn't support Google Play services. OR ANY ON FACING FAILED TO LOGIN ISSUE ONthis is what you have to do,

Step 1; download the latest version of vmos and install it.

Step 2; enter Vmos and install Android 7.1 64-bit rom .

Step 3; now inside vmos, go to virtual machine settings and enable gms services or Google Play services.

Step 4; Go to virtual machine information and click on it from the scroll down to the very last bottom and then disable the slide bar at the bottom of the screen where the SIM is written.

Now you have set up everything all you have to do is to enter the The Android 7.1 rom or restart your vmos and then login into your Google account on Play store inside vmos and then go back into the game and everything should work fine right now. it can download the update from Play store from here I hope this help everyone

I did all the things you mentioned but still same problem, no data is being downloaded and screen is stuck at updating in vmos.

Did you login to the play store inside vmos? What is the version number of the vmos you you are using. This only work on version 2.9.8 . Which I when I checked right now was removed from the official website. I will upload this very to Google drive and share the link.
