Guys,try these steps and see whether game works:
1.Install original game from playstore,and uninstall it.
2.Go to settings->apps->app management->google playstore->force stop,clear cache and data,uninstall updates(in this order)
3.Open playstore and let it open,then close it.
4.install mod apk and see whether additional files are downloading.
If the additional files download,then game will open

Hey guys I finally was able to play the game! I followed these steps in the exact same order the only thing I did different was after step 1 I restarted my phone and then continued with the rest of the step. I have to tell you that I've tried this like 4 times. Just remember to have the APK mod already downloaded. I hope you guys are able to access the game ! See you in the next update LMAO

It won't open the game at all it says I need to download via the playstore. You need to fix this **** already. Been using this mod forever now and this is the first time it's ever happened **** is going on here....
