I think the developer (kefir) already got enough and improved his game security, I mean he need money to make the game running. You can't mad at the modder for this, mod is not easy especially for online server. Blame the user for can't shut their mouth let alone uploading their abuse and make it for YouTube content. I'm not even surprised if the game can't be play using mod anymore. Be patience.

You can voice out your opinion and frustration but you can do it politely unlike the person you're defending he immediately uses his right to voice out in a bad way by calling names and belittling the dev/owner
